Recommended Posts

Welcome and good morning everyone! I am live in Phoenix, Arizona to drive the brand new 2015 Chevrolet Silerado and GMC Sierra HD.

I will be randomly posting my experiances today as the day goes on. Photos, info, facts, and anything else that I think you might enjoy.

I will start driving at approximately 10am eastern time.

Riding in the above truck right now.

My first impressions

- Super quiet! 1500 levels of quiet

- great interior is same as 1500

- After a few miles.."This is a diesel?" ..it is so refined and quiet.

Just got back from driving a Ford F250 and a Sierra 3500 Denali.

The ride between the two is considerably different. The Sierra and Chevy drive much smoother, quieter, and composed than the F250.

Eating lunch then I'll get to tow.

Been out driving more.

These trucks are impressive.

-Pulled a wind stream trailer and almost forgot it was there

-endless power from the duramax..never feels maxed out (unlike the F250)

My biggest gripe is the steering. Center feel is pretty vague. I do not like the lack of feedback.

Just took part in the head to head with Ford and Dodge. I'll detail more later but the Chevy is far more composed. Even with only 10k lbs the Ford was scary. Dodge was almost as bad.
