Run it til it blows, like these guys said it's under warranty. You sure it's not traction control?

Does sound like TC stepping in. Does the warning light come on for traction control when this happens?

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra and mine does the same thing. It varies as well, if I accelerate really slow sometimes it just lurches forward and feels like it accelerates on its own a then switches to 4th gear just fine. Beyond that it changes gears nice and smooth. If I accelerate a little faster, sometimes it will be a hard jerk and then its fine beyond that. Sometimes it changes gear just fine. But more often than not, it has a hard lurch forward. I own a 200 chevy silverado 1500, that has never and still doesn't switch gears as rough as my new truck. When i brought the truck to the service department, they said they felt the jerk but that the transmission needs to learn the gears and to come back when i hit 5000 miles and i just hit 1000 miles. I have owned 4 brand new vehicles since 2000 and not once have I had any transmission problems like this.Sounds like BS to me but when I told the service department they were just delaying the innevitable, they responded saying "we aren't just going to open up the transmission". They have another forum on here where the guy had this problem and this is what his dealership did.

customer states -- hears noise and vehicle jerks on acceleration from a complete stop loose bolts all around fluid pump cove assembly referencing doc id:207440 where black arrows are pointing bolts were not tightened down, i was able to move the bolts by hand replaced fluid pump cover assembly replaced seals of valve bodydisassembled clutches throughout transmission and cleaned and inspected steels and fibers flushed out lines abd cooler flush flush code Db88de7

flow 2.1gpm @65f cycle 32

parts replaced

24248573 cover kit 4.224 y

24236927 deal kit 4.005 y

He said it fixed it. Brought this to my dealership and showed them the fix and they did nothing

No I didn't at all, but I was hoping they would. There is obviously something wrong if you would drive my truck. So I am doing my 5000 miles like they asked and will go back if it continues. So far it still is doing it.

My 2014 crew cab 4x4 tranny shifts great on normal starts from lights or accelerating to pass vehicles etc. The only issue I am having (thankfully does not happend that much as I drive off hours) is if in heavy traffic where you go from stop up to 5-10mph and continuously going slightly faster or slower my transmission will slightly shutter and seem to be looking for the right gear to use, even at these low speeds, guess I will add that to my list of things for warranty.
