Sirius XM Syncing

On my 2014 Sierra when i tag a song or whatever its called, my sirius tells me it will copy the song to an iPod when attached. however, my iPod is attached and i have tried attaching my Galaxy s4 phone as well, and no songs will copy to the devices. what am i doing wrong?

If i remember correctly it wont put the song on your ipod unless you pay for it, siriusxm is not going to give you free music

You hook an iPhone/iPod to the vehicle and next time you hook it to iTunes on your computer it will ask if you want to purchase that song.............. At least that is how I understand it

ok, now it makes sense. lol. i thought paying for sirius got you the free songs
