Price Paid for your 2015 HD

Recommended Posts

Just picked this up yesterday. My first diesel!

It's been sitting on the lot for a month, and I went to another GMC dealer to price out the same truck (to get them to compete!). However, the other dealer said that "Crew cab, reg bed, D-max LTZ's don't exist, they're on constraint" and the closet one he was able to find (and sold) was 1k miles away.

Well I knew this was exactly what I wanted, and hurried back the dealer that had it!

Sticker: $59,550

They agreed to go straight to invoice: $56,350

Trade for my 09 Silverado 1500 Ext cab, 85k miles: $17,200 (after a little pushing on my end)

Down payment: $10,000

Incentives and arm twisting: $2,800

I told them that between my trade and DP, I wanted 30k off sticker, and that's exactly what I ended up with. (including taxes and fees)

I stopped into a few dealers yesterday to see if they were in dealing mood for Memorial Day. Nothing. All sticker all the time. It may be time to open up to other options for me. I'll be really interested to see where the sales numbers are for May, and what incentives there will be for June.

Ran the numbers again and it was an actual 7,287 total off msrp.

I think that's a good deal since it looks like most dealers won't budge off MSRP or only $1K - $3K

I just bought my 2015 GMC Sierra Denali 2500HD 6.6.

MSPR: $64, 535

I was able to get the truck price down to $57,854.20, however after taking a loss on my trade-in. My out the door price $64,778.65. The only bonus was, this dealership negotiated over the phone and set the price over the phone. I walk in the next day with papers drawn. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Plus they give lifetime oil changes as long as I own the truck. I feel good about the deal.

I had never considered buying a high end pickup til now.

I thought all Denalis had all the available options, but am getting an education.

What are the most practical options that are "must haves"?

I feel the Z71 off road package is needed for my use, but what else do y'all recommend.
