Hi from Pac NW

Been reading here for a while, finally joined after lurking long enough.

My quick and dirty story is that I owned a 2012 Silverado that I never liked much. Traded in a 2004 Titan that I loved to death. But after chasing ghosts for the elusive 9.5 mpg cause, I traded for the 2012.

Don't get me wrong, after the leveling kit and a few other items I installed to make the truck mine, it was a good truck. Just never 'liked' it.

Then the 2014 Silverados came out. I purchased an upper end LT with the Z71 appearance package and I was smitten. I don't miss the Titan anymore.

Plan on using this as a daily driver, and to tow a Toy Hauler that I will be getting later, but that will only be very occasionally and with no real hills in between.

Looks like a good community here with lots of information. I hope to learn a lot.

Pic is of my truck after purchase.

Thank you all for the welcome.

Welcome to GMT

What part of the PNW? I was raised in Seattle.

I have lived all around the Portland area. Now live north of the Columbia. Its a bit wet here during the winter, but the rest of the months make up for it. What took you to Cali. I think you have it backwards as they were all moving up here
