In the same boat, was disappointed that all I got with my 2017 was the ziploc bag.  

 

Looked around on eBay and Amazon, but ended up buying a “Husky 12” black document bag” from Home Depot for about $3.50.    It has 2 interior sections and holds all the manuals with room left over for receipts and service records.  It’s a little large for the glovebox but will fit if you fold over the top.  I just keep mine in the console.

I upgraded my factory "plastic valise" to the heavier "Ziplock freezer bag "valise". It made all the difference in the world.
