Back in 2012 I installed a backup camera on my 2011 Sierra.

I purchased the camera kit from Camera Source and the OnStar backup mirror from Bob's Automotive Mirrors & More.

It has recently stopped displaying in the mirror. Checked all connections, all seems well.

I have not figured out what fuse protects X10 in the junction block (thats where the reverse sense wire is tapped).

There is a green light on the mirror, next to camera display power button. It's solid green when reverse is NOT engaged, blinking green when reverse IS engaged.

I'm leaning towards an issue with the camera or it's harness.

I have emailed both sellers and I'm awaiting a reply.

Any thoughts?

is there a standard video cable plugging into mirror where you can plug into a small tv just to check and make sure its not the mirror?

I did this when i was hooking up ,y cam on my old truck with screen in dash..

Dumb question, but do you have reverse lights? If you do, it's unlikely that you have lost a fuse

Did you check power for the camera at the harness at the rear of the truck? I always suggest to look for voltage on the camera wire by starting at the back and working your way forward - that way you know that you either do or do not have a power problem as soon as you stab the harness.

We see a lot of guys install these cameras and lose the power connection at the reverse trigger wire (dark blue wire in pin 8 of X10 at the left IP junction block).

Great idea! I'll check for power at the camera first, if it's getting power, I'll try you suggestion.

Yes I have backup lights, I'm going to check for power to the camera rear harness.

Thanks.

UPDATE:

Got an email from the mirror seller, blinking green light indicates, no signal from camera.

Time to start digging!

Just to follow up.....

Checked for power at the camera end of the harness, there is power at both sides of the plug.

Talked with Chris from Camera-Source, he's sending me a replacement camera and harness.
