New member from SE Texas. I'm currently in the mkt for a new 15 2500. Can't decide between the duramax or gas.

welcome, if you tow a whole lot, id go with the dmax, also if you are coming from a diesel not sure you want to go back to a gas, I know I probably wouldn't. the torque the dmax puts put is addictive, lol.

Ok thanks I really don't tow a whole lot. I do like the duramax but feel it may be less economical to own. However I've learned that the gas is only available with 4.10 rear end. This leads me to think the mpg will not be any better than the older models...any thoughts?
