Cleaning Infotainment Screen

Does anyone have any good cleaning tips for the 8" screen?

Then manual advises the use of a microfiber cloth but i doubt that will do it.

I find it shows finger prints very easily.

I am a professional detailer and in some cases a simple swipe of a waffle weave microfiber glass towel will remove finger smudges. However, wetting it with a solution is best to make the job easier. I use Mother's Revision Touchscreen Cleaner. It does come in a kit with a towel and cleaner and is small enough to keep in your glovebox for easy access.

I bought a box of several hundred premoistened eyeglass cleaning toweletts at Sam's Wholesale...I put several in my truck and used one on the touchscreen; worked perfectly!

I just use the microfiber cloth that came with the truck when I bought it. Seems to get off all of the fingerprint smudges quite well actually.

yep same here, microfiber cloth works very well with no cleaners at all.

cloth came with the truck and works fine. If you have something on there beyond the normal finger prints and dust, try best buy and look for Tv screen cleaner. But that rag that came with it should work. You even try it.

i use the cloth that came with it or my oakley soft case and havent had any issues yet

I use these, they work great on tablets, laptops, etc.

A cotton microfiber rag dampened with only water works well.

 

Quit touching the dang thing a drive the truck. LOL

You could always get a stylus or pen (without the point being out of course) and use that! Never have to worry about a fingerprint again haha
