Wheel help

Recommended Posts

I recently added fender flares to my 05 1500. I didn't realize how far my wheels would be tucked in. I don't like the look at all, but I love the flares. I've tried wheel spacers and wasn't a fan. I need some help on understanding offsets on wheels or what wheels will stick out farther than the stock ones. Looks like I'm getting new wheels!!

You would want a negative offset. Mine are -11, meaning 11 millimeters pushed out or 1.1 cm, .43 inches.

However our stock wheels are about +10 if I remember right. So my wheels are actually pushing out almost an inch on each side further than stock.

Stock is +31. I would guess you'd want about a zero offset to get almost even with the flares if they are factory style. Depending on the width of rim you go with. A zero offset will get em slightly further out, 1.2", then if you get a slightly wider rim and tire it will be about even.
