Toyo Open Country AT2

Hey All,

I have been looking at the Toyo AT2 for a while now and was curious to hear some feedback on them. I am specifically looking at the 275-60-20 P-Metric (non-extreme version). I will be using these tires for mostly (95%) highway/city driving, and on occasion a few dirt trails that I have to take to get to fishing spots. They have excellent reviews on treaddepot.com and come with a 65k warranty. Seeing if any of you all have and first hand experience with these tires. Mainly looking for ride quality and road noise characteristics. Thanks in advance for your help!

Same here, nothing but good reviews. I am going to put these on my truck when my oem's wear out. I will get the 275/65R18 C rated tires. There is a 100 and some page thread on them on f150forum.com. Google search for the thread...

I have the Toyo Open Country AT which is the predecessor to the AT2. They have a less aggressive sidewall, but the tread pattern is the same. They make very little noise on the highway and don't ride rough for an LT tire. I wouldn't hesitate a second to put some AT2 or AT2 Extremes on as my next set of tires.

I've been running the AT2s for a couple thousand miles now. Very happy with them. I went with 275/65/20 (34") which is a LT 10-ply (non extreme). Much stiffer ride than the stock Goodyear Sr-a, but I needed a real a/t tire. Great in snow, slush, rain and dry. I can hear them more than the Sr-a but really quiet for an a/t.

Good deal, thanks for the insight guys. I have the Cooper ATP right now which I am not as thrilled with as I had anticipated. I put them on my 2013 for about 2k miles while I had all of the issues with that truck before I got the 2014 and swapped them over. They have been on and off rims so many times I am just thinking about starting over and getting a good new set for the new truck.
