33x12.5r18 tire fitment/lift for 08 gmc sierra 1500 2wd

As stated, I have an 08 gmc sierra 1500 2wd looking to fit some 33x12.5 tires. I have been going back and forth on what lift I want to go with. Currently, I have a rc 2.5" leveling kit with the 2 inch block in the back instead of factory, but have not installed it yet because I don't know if it will be enough (even with trimming involved). should I return it and get a 3" spindle lift instead or will that not clear it as well?

 

I am talking to a rim company at the moment and have the options of

-17x9" rims with a (-12) or (+18) offset

-18x9" rims with a (-12) or (+18) offset

 

so I have quite a few ways I could go because the rim size and offset are not set in stone.
