What are your plans?

I'm guessing if the belt is missing the AC compressor is seized.

Yep, that would be my guess too. Plans for now are to just fix the small issues starting with new bulbs, fluids, brakes, shocks, clean, and refinish the frame etc. After the Wife, and I buy a house which will be sometime around the end of the year hopefully I will start on the bigger things like body work, and paint. Undecided on what to do when the motor finally blows, but will more than likely do a fresh 5.3L. I do know that when the rear end goes I will replace the 3.42's with 3.73's.

Also forgot to mention that the exhaust manifold is missing a bolt on the drivers side, and it leaks pretty good on startup when the motor is cold. Going to soak it in PB Blaster one of these days, and see if I can get it out.

What does the interior look like? Hopefully it was maintained better than the outside.

But its a good base and with what would be a handful of new truck payments you'll have an awesome build, especially if you get another 5.3 with 3.73's down the road. Good luck with everything!

Thanks. The interior is a lot better than the exterior. It's basically just dirty. The seats are in great shape for the mileage. Steering wheel is basically junk, but other than that it's good.

No new rotors? I just went with Raybestos R300's

I was looking at those, and a guy I work with had them on his 03 Silverado, but complained that he had brake fade. I've had the Powerslots before on the 05 that I had, and I really liked them. The Raybestos look good though. Edited by Daryl Z71
