Non-conventional method of cleaning your truck's interior

Not sure I've shared this before but,

 

If your into detailing your new truck and looking for optimum leather and upholstery care try using Clorox Wipes to clean and remove dirt & debris, oils, minor stains, etc from your truck's leather and as well other the plastic/vinyl interior components. Clorox wipes will not damage or harm your leather (or other upholstery) and provides an easy method to periodically clean auto interiors.

 

A friend of mine who specializes in high-line and collector car vehicle detailing informed me of this (use of Clorox wipes) and I have since been regularly using them (in between leather treatments). They also work great for removing denim stains and even better, won't discolor the white stitching (french stitching) of your leather seats as other cleaners and leather treatments will do.

 

If skeptical, try them in an inconspicuous location and see for yourself.

Agree, but given the convenient packaging the wipes make for readily available and easy cleaning, besides there cheap.

 

My view being that often times people tend to over saturate their leather upholstery by over conditioning it which can result in blocking the natural pores of the leather and actually becoming an attractant for dirt and debris. Hence, I've learned to treat my leather once per year.

I'm fine w/ the wipes as they are rather mild, but do NOT use bleach of any sort on leather. Bad, bad things happen.
