S10 tire size swap

Have an 02 s10, 2WD. Was wondering if anyone has gone to a wider tire. Has 205/75r15 now and they look sooooo narrow. Looks like a 225/70r15 is really close on height and a little wider. A 235/70r15 is a little taller. Not sure it would fit. Anyone tried this?

The rear tires can go all the way up to 295/50r15 with no issues. I've put 245/60r15s on the front with no issues. Not sure I would go any bigger than that though.

My last truck was an '04 Sonoma that came stock with 235/75R15s so I'd think that would be a good choice of tire size as well.

Thanks, i understand the sizes, just didnt know what will fit without ripping fenders off.

I was just checking on this and found that the 235's on the front will rub a little bit when you are at full turn like when backing out of parking lot but it's not bad.
