Emergency lighting install 2014 sierra

Recommended Posts

I am going to be installing some emergency lights in my '14 sierra and looking for a little advise on a couple parts of it. I have my lights from strobes n more. 4-e6 LEDs & 2 e4's. I'm going to put the e6's in the grille and the e4's on a license plate bracket on the back. The two things I'm looking for advise on are how to mount the lights in the grille, they will fit in the openings I'm just not sure how to mount them there. The other is where to run my wires through the firewall into the cab. Any advise would help, hoping someone's done this before and could possibly post some pictures.

Quite an old post but I'll revive it.

Getting some cool new lights installed in my '15. They're called Feneix Cannon hide-aways. They replace OEM bulbs such as fogs, cargo and reverse. They act as a normal bulb but then flash split color or single depending on choice. Mine, once installed, will be white/blue. Also getting two SoundOff Ghost lights in my grill and a deck light. Photos and videos to follow of course.

Here's an ad for the Feneix:

Check out my install. I am by no means a professional upfitter but I do have 8 years of telecommunications background so I know a thing or two about running wires.

The problem with my truck is the Denali is not especially friendly to emergency equipment. The huge center console eliminates a lot of controller options and placement of the siren amp, and the sunroof means a lightbar is problematic. This is how I did it.

The HHS2200 will be replaced soon by a Cencom Sapphire along with a bunch of other equipment but since I don't use it too frequently I'm not in a big rush.
