I'm writing an article on pickup snowplow prep for a couple business/equipment magazines (Equipment World and Total landscape Care) and was hoping to make contact with a few Snow Belt GM-owning contractors/landscapers for plow setup insights. Any Silverado/Sierra work truck owners out there who can assist?Snow-plowing-GMC_BWS3494.jpg

The newer chevys 2010 and newer are suppose to have beefier frames and higher gvws on the front axle rating. My 2014 3500HD came with the snow plow prep. package[ dual batteries, high amp alternator ,skid plate, dome light switch for roof light] from GM. My dealer worked with the fisher plow dealer to install plow with a business choice discount if bought as a package. I like the 3500 because even though it is a 6.0 gasser. I have the heavier rear suspension, axle and brakes. I also have the tow package which may help plowing as well. plowking
