2014 Sierra 6" chrome assist steps scratched step pad need replace

My running boards got damaged at the car wash 2 days after they were installed ....my dealer I bought my 14 Sierra AT & 6" chrome assist steps said the plastic step pad is not sold separately & I would need to buy the running boards again wben the pads just pop right off ?? Is this true as I cant find the part # online ?

Thats horrible. ...I took them to court & the judge said they look bad vut still work to get people in & out & said $50....meanwhile it cost $22 to sue them & $20 for the wash ....very unfair

So if someone dents your truck...as long as it still drives & holds passangers its shouldnt be worth having the person damaging it to repair it. ...only a fraction of it....according to the judge who was in a s$!T mood that day

Dealer is a sack of crap. 22876957 for the front 22876237 for the rear. $47 each.

The Judge was probably a Prius driving Liberal.

Not so funny you said a car wash damaged them. Went to get a quick wash today and this happened instead of it washing the truck.

WTH happened? You bump something inside the wash?

The hose feeding the undercarriage sprayer had a hole and came flying at the truck, so I tried to back out. It wrapped around the bumper and stopped the truck from backing out and that bent the bumper. $1100 quote to fix it from the dealer today.

I was going to look into this myself. Might need to replace one of mine some day. Doesn't take much to damage them. I got in my truck the other week with my bike riding shoes. My cleats are the flush type but I still made a small mark on my step. Glad to see you can just replace the pads.
