'15 Tahoe, Instrument Panel Cluster...

Recommended Posts

'15 Tahoe (LT), instrument panel cluster needed to be reprogrammed due to the odometer displaying incorrect readings, peak in odometer display incorrect (service invoice, GM campaign number 14126). There was nothing noticeably wrong while driving, but the dealer requested I allow him to repair while the truck was in for scheduled maintenance. You will not be notified since this is not a recall, but the dealer will fix it if the truck is in the shop for some other reason.

The result of this campaign fix, "noticeably" responsive throttle and torque at low speeds, vehicle geared longer. And I am not someone who gets on the gas. This is very nice when merging on the highway, but may get expensive during stop and go city traffic. What happens when the gears are longer, more responsive throttle at lower speeds plus the added weight of a full size SUV, an extremely large slurp between fill-ups.

Since I drive the highway more than the city, I'm lovin' this fix.
