Roscopcoletrain
Annoying is the best way to describe it. Its fine at speed, but anything less then 30 or so, small bumps in driveways or parking lots, creek creeek creeeeeeek. Seems like its the drivers side leafs. Perhaps the bushings? I sprayed them with some fluid film. That just seemed to waist fluid film lol. Any other tips to get rid of the annoying squeak/creeeeek from my leafs?? Roscopcoletrain
ya think? I went over the mounting bolts for them, all seemed tight. and I swear it sounds like its coming from the rear wheel area
sdeeter19555
Spray the leaves and bushings with some ATF...it will creep between the leaves, acting like penetrating oil but still have some body. Even if its not the leaves, it should help the ride some. As noted, usually creeking is from the body/bed moving on the frame.

I torgued them to spec etc. I would bet if you have after market steps, they are the first place to start. I took mine off and the noise went away. I hate it, but live with it.
