New tonneau cover

Recommended Posts

So I've been looking into buying a hard foldable tonneau for my 2014 Silverado and narrowed my choices to the Peragon and the Roll-X (Bakflip's new rollable cover). Any thoughts and/or experiences with either covert would be a huge help. Thanks again!!

I'd think that the roll-x would be pretty water resistant because of the vinyl that eliminates the seams. I also think that it would be nice to have the rolling feature, I have a undercover flex and I'm less than thrilled. It leaks quite a bit and also is kinda cumbersome to fold up and it is kinda sucko that you can't see your load when your going down the road if you have the cover fully folded.

I know it's been a while, but I decided to go with the Roll-x cover. Even though Peragon looks just as good, I'm not a big fan of the idea of drilling into my bed. Once I get the Roll-x, I'll post my thoughts on it

Not to change the subject. Well I guess I am a little. Are any of you guys getting mildew or mold on the under side of your covers?

Not at all. But I drive mine daily for now.

When I had my Ram and let it sit for a couple of weeks with the cover on it, it would smell wet. I had a bedbug in it as well. I would flip the cover up and drive it to air it out. Think she had a small leak up front and sitting in there.

No problems with my latest one.
