no cab voltage

I recently tried to start my truck, got nothing when I turned the key. I noticed that I had no dome lights, no electric door locks, no headlights, no hazards. Checked voltage at the battery and alternator - 13.4 volts. Checked voltage at the terminal block on the firewall - all read 12.2 volts. Checked the link on that red wire behind the glovebox - its good. Where do I go from here?

Check down by the starter. Could be a fusible link burnt.

Have you checked for power at the starter? How are the electrical connections between battery and starter? Fuses/fusible links?

Voltage at starter and at the terminals. New wrinkle, its been acouple of days since trying to start... the dome light is on and "key in ignition" signal on until I turn the key, then all goes very dim. Still no headlights or hazards.

Today I have a dim dome light and weak key in ignition signal. Goes even dimmer when I turn the key. Still no hazard or headlights.

You may have a cell or two in your battery going out. I'd have your battery tested.

Tried jumping from a running engine... no difference.

Test the battery, check all connections on zillion yr old truck
