Sold my junker Silverado. Never had more of a hate/love relationship with an automobile as I did with this truck. It had to be in the shop for at least 10 times for rattles, shakes, alignment (before drop), recalls, headliner falling down, etc. Sold her for $36k with 11k miles after only 8 months.

Picked up a 2012 Audi A6 Prestige. Wont miss that truck one bit.

It's kind of ironic because Audi's have some of the worst reliability problems out of all major automotive manufactures. Mind you I would still love to own one, but everyone I know that has told me to make sure you dump it off before it hits 50,000 miles because when they break, and they will, they are crazy expensive to fix.

They'll all be that way soon with the way their slapping turbos, 25spd transmissions that only a shop can service, and neutered motors with cylinder deactivation on these things. Start/Stop technology, etc...

That's a bummer about your truck. Was it your first truck?

That Schnitzel car is a cool lookin ride. But man! those big ol wheels and teeny skins are gonna be expensive everytime a pothole jumps in front of you.

Funny Story, I had a Cannary Yellow S4 that I loved but the Electrical Ghosts tried to kill me. Final straw was when it was going thru a Carwash with NOBODY in the car and the sunroof and windows started to open and close all on their own! I was done, traded in the same evening on a SVT Focus and never looked back.

Your story is very similar to many posted on forums elsewhere. I think some of their cars look awesome, such as the op above. But was looking into them years ago & was told to buy from a very reputable dealer with some sort of service agreement/all inclusive warranty program or look for something different completely. Issues noted then were the same electrical gremlins.

The audi is great so far, still under factory warranty and bought it from a good buddy of mine. No comparison to the chevy, Ive owned 6 new trucks and 1 new car in the last 10 years and this was the biggest POS of them all. The audi is my first used car and to be honest, i may never buy another truck again lol

You have an addiction my friend. It's time to admit it and seek counseling. I know a fleet manager that can help get you what you need...good pricing. LOL
