Remember mods only get a minimal return IF ANY, unless you find the person looking for exactly what you have, or you are a dealer.

Not fair, but that's how the world works.

That said, assuming decent mileage(150k)in OK I'm thinking you'd see it at around 15kish~, but I might be off a little in either direction.

Dealer will offer around black book as a trade. This is what Black Book shows it at.

Since it has already been seriously modified, I think quite a few people would shy away from it, unless your willing to give a deal.

Also, it is an older generation truck, which has the torsion key suspension setup, no one wants that anymore. Put yourself in the position of being the buyer. When you see a truck like yours, you are going to assume right off the bat that you have driven it hard, and it has seen some hard off road miles. Combine that with age and all of the modified parts, and a lot of people will shy away from it.

There is one golden rule when trying to sell something in a down economy where people do not have a lot of money. Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Honestly a lot depends on the buyer. Some people want to buy a pickup set up a certain way. If you find someone who wants a lifted pickup it'll be easy to get the money out of them.

But you've spent loads of money getting it set up how you want. Why sell it now? You aren't going to get any money back from all the time and work you've put in. I would keep it.

And really torsion bars aren't a bad design. The fact that they've been in use since 88 and are still used on the HDs today should be a clue. Taking all that pressure off the front and putting it onto a crossmember further back which even balances itself if the pressure on both sides is even is a good design I think.

I agree, it's like saying coil springs on the ram make leaf spring obsolete on trucks. Depends on how you will use it.

Maybe some day, but not yet.

I can relate, I have a modified 92 Chevy. Books for 3500, asking 7500. Nothing is stock. I got tired of the BS I'm keeping it, would cost me ten times that to build.
