6.2 should be the same tube? maybe not..

Anyway... I wonder if there is any gain or sound change? I tried 2 different full CAI on my 2014...the sound was annoying as hell. I'm thinking the tube only would be just right..

It will be louder. The design of the factory intake is to deaden the sound.

So you've tried to fit one on a V6?

I'm betting it won't fit at all because I believe the throttle body sits quite a bit further back in the engine bay than either the 5.3 or 6.2. Transmission sits in essentially the same location, but the engine itself is shorter. By about 25% :)

So if you have not tried one then why say it won't fit. The airbox and tb are the same so there may be enough adjustment to make it fit. If there are no other V6 owners willing then I may have to try, I had the last body style with a tube and it seems like it may work.

I got the same email the other day when I emailed them if they were making a JR kit.

MIT is just the tube, JR kit replaces the tube and comes with a factory replacement filter and can get it with either an oiled or dry filter. I won't be able to get one yet, but I'm considering a JR kit.
