'15 Tahoe AC

Recommended Posts

Took the Tahoe in today for service, see robsieb post "first issue with Yukon" for details. To summarize, AC temp gets hotter as outside temps climb to triple digits. The situation in the Tahoe was identical to the Yukon's, but the service technician did not replace the expansion valve. Instead, after an AC system check, he determined the "AC High Pressure Sensor" was faulty.

The sensor was replaced and the technician said the AC was blowing icicles. Yeah, the AC is cold, but I thought it was cold before I drove it in 100 degree temps. It's not hot enough where I live so I may have to put the truck on the road to test if the Sensor was the issue.
