In cab climate controls

I'm new to the forum looking for a little help.

 

2004 GMC Denali Quad Steer 1500 Truck

Temperature controls switching from AC to heat, I can shut off engine and restart and it returns to AC for a short time, then the gremlins take over and switch it back to heat. It's a dual control system and only the drivers side is effected.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?

Bad actuator under the dash on the passenger side is most likely your issue. It controls the hot/cold air blend door. Had same problem on my wife's 2005 Yukon Denali...

Why would it be on the passenger side when the drivers side is the one affected?
