I drive a black 2014 Silverado LT Double cab 4x4 Z71 with the 5.3.

What I've done to it so far:

- Flowmaster Super 44 single in/dual out muffler with black tips at 45°

- Black UWS toolbox

- Black N-fab bed access steps

- Black AMI lockable gas door

- Black bowtie emblems, full emblem on grille and insert on tailgate

- Stampede hoodshield

- Weathertech in-channel window deflectors, front and rear

- Removed plastic valance front bottom of the front bumper

What I have planned for the future so far:

- Black KMC Rockstar 2 XD811 rims, 18x9 but not sure which offset, comes with 0 or +30

- Tint the front door windows to match rear door windows, or darker

- Change the 3.08 gears to stock 3.42

- Maybe level it, but will lift in the far future (probably after it's paid off)

- Various performance upgrades, not sure what though

But you forgot the first mod... Remove Dealer Decal... Other than that, looks great! welcome to the forum!

It doesn't really bother me too be honest. Plus I don't know if I trust myself enough to do it and not mess up the paint any.

If it's sunny out, just peel. As long as you don't use a grinder or torch, there is very little risk to damaging paint. if it isn't sunny out, a hair dryer and ten seconds of time is all it takes. Then, possibly, some goo gone for residue. Here's some more details: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/141457-how-to-remove-a-dealership-decal-in-five-easy-steps/page-3

But, if it doesn't bother you, then it doesn't matter.

Just removed it today lol. I bought some plastic razor blades from Autozone and it worked great. I just need to get the leftover adhesive off. I'm hoping a good wash and a quick scrub with the mit will get it off since it's not much.

Next thing on my mind is the emblem on the steering wheel. I want to make it look like the tailgate emblem. Keep the chrome trim and have the insert black.

I'm sure a free sample piece of vinyl from somewhere would be enough to do it. Most online places will send free samples for color comparison. Not that it would be all that expensive, but just a thought.

Ya I thought about that and it was my first choice. But, I'm picky as hell and I want to keep the bumpy texture of the insert and I don't know if vinyl would keep that texture like I would want it to. I may just try a piece of vinyl first just to try and if I don't like it I try plastidip or something.

if you look in the build threads section, user blackout07 just did a vinyl overlay on his wife's steering wheel emblem. Could ask him on that.

I started a thread about it and I know he said he did it with vinyl. But, the pic he showed was blurry and I couldn't tell how the texture looked. Like I said, I'm picky so I want the texture to show good. I will probably try a little 4x6 piece off eBay and if I don't like it I'll just peel it off and try plastidip. I don't even like plastidip, especially on big things like rims, but it would be the best paint for something small like that lol.

EDIT: Just ordered a 4x6" piece for $2 so I'll try that first. If not then plastidip.
