I'm running behind on my work today, so unfortunately I'll have to post my write up tomorrow. To hopefully make up for this sin, here's some better photos for you all.

Thanks for the extra pics! I'm looking forward to the write up. There are certain things I like better on the Colorado, and other things I like on the Canyon. The front end on the Canyon makes it look like a mini 2500HD to me...which is kinda cool. The back seat on the extended cab looks pretty small for an adult though.

I like the copper red color, oh that's right I cant get that color in a all terrain form.

I like the 18" version of the full size machined with grey painted accents wheels, oh that's right I cant get that rim choice in a all terrain form.

A local dealer got in their 1st Colorado crew cab, longbed-already sold before it arrived.

Gave it a pretty good look-appears to be longer than my '06 Silverado 1500 crew with 5"8" box.

Seating reminds me of the Toyota Tacoma, seat is lower to the floor, which I personally do not care for.

If the driver or front passenger have long legs there isn't much room left in the rear seating are for leg room.

Not a lot of headroom in the rear area either from what I noticed, and I'm only 5'7" (It would be okay for someone my height, any taller, probably not.)

Nice truck but has me still liking the full-size truck better.

Did you sit in the back seat of the crew cab? It looks like the same amount of leg room as a double cab K2 but, is the seat back more comfortable and are the headrests actually functional?

Just by the pictures I can tell the new ones are in a whole different league then the previous gen ones. The old ones were horrible, ugly, crappy uncomfy interiors, they drove terrible, and weren't good on fuel.

They had a crappy interior from day one. I looked at them when they first hit the lot and was disgusted, they were bad by even GM standards at the time. My 2000 Intrigue interior was a LOT better.

The red Canyon with the colormatched grille was also my favorite. So hot!

I agree, I usually don't like red on trucks, but it really pulls it off
