2015 Yukon XL Rear Noise

Recommended Posts

Anyone with new 2015 Yukon annoying noises??? wondering if you noticed a rear end noise (driver side) when getting into bumps? the entrance of my community has a brick road and I get this noise like muffler moves and knocks something else... Also driver seat belt casing on the panel makes a noise and does not go away adjusting the height of the belt, imaging that all day in your ear.

Please comment on ANY noise

I hear all kinds of noises. About to call to schedule my 2nd oil change & tire rotation and have a list of things they need to fix. I've heard a rattle in the back since driving it off the lot. At first I bit my tongue b/c I didn't want to sound petty & nit picking things. I've moved stuff around and finally realized last week that it is coming from the rear panel that has the fuse box and tire jack. I've tightened and moved it and it still rattles...it's driving me nuts. I also get a popping noise from my dash. But so far, during the 6 months I've owned it, I had to:

1-Have the rear spoiler replaced around 3,000 miles (thats when they finally figured out why the rear hatch wouldn't open)

2-Something in my front seats move when I turn (they couldn't replicate it on the last visit)

3-We noticed over the weekend that the shifter column boot is either torn or burnt & leaks oil out the rip now

4-Mylink needs an update b/c it spazzes out

5-I've noticed that on some Tahoes the passenger rear panel shakes real bad while driving (need to get my hubby to follow me to see if mine does.)

6-The annoying rattle in the rear.

We're losing confidence in it and if it doesn't miraculously turn around we will be off loading it and go back to Toyota.

Reference #2, Have them check the seat frame. I have 1000 miles on mine and its already being replaced. They had to order a new one. I describe it as a popping sound, almost like a loose seat.

And on #4, They took mine apart to check the connection and said it was fixed, but I have to take it back again. The screen goes out and it acts like an old Tube TV with an Antenna......

Again my fellow GM Owners, I have a rattle noise in the rear, sounds like the spare tire moves, or muffler tube knocks on something, it is a beep KNOCK hapen in uneven roads and bumps, like speed bumps, brick roads.....
