How I installed the black gm factory bowtie emblem on the front of my

Thank you very much for this write up. I realized the 2015 was different when I began delving into this seemingly easy project. Because of this thread I did this:  used a chisel to pull the gold insert out, put a flathead in and broke the plastic rivets, then just removed the chrome trim. Saved me at least an hour worth of work (which is the hour I spent on the rear emblem.

are those replacement bowties Chrome or Black Chrome trimmed?
