4.2" level one non touch screen radio swap for 4.2" level two

I have a 2015 Silverado 2500 HD Dbl cab and was wondering if switching from the non touch screen to the touch screen is as easy as pulling one out, unplugging it, and plugging the new one in? I understand there is a hands free mic in the headliner, but was wondering how easy the swap would work if possible

I didn't even know there was a touchscreen version of the 4.2"? I have a 2015 rental that is LT trim rental right now and it does not have a touch screen and I'd think if any model would have the higher level version it'd be this one.

There is no 4.2" touch screen. Just base and color. 8 inch is touch screen. All radios for these are still on parts restriction as well if I recall.

no such. you can go from io3 to io4, but still no touch screen
