Efi live tuning 2014 Silverado

I just tweaked my 2010 2500 suburban by doing the following:

removed 4 second PE delay, changed PE enable to 600 RPM, PE rate to 2.0, MAP hyst set to 0 (now PE will operate without waiting until 4 seconds or 5000 RPM!)

increased timing tables (my stock 6.0 timing tables were pathetic)

disabled burst knock retard (no need to pull timing just because you stepped into the gas!)

increased the Torque model table for RPM_Airflow by 8% (as described in this thread https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?18710-Improving-shifts-via-the-ECM)

I haven't touched the transmission controller and don't plan to.

With these mods, it was night and day this morning. It's snappy and has a lot more power down low. Shift times feel like they were reduced by about 50% with the torque model, but they are still smooth.

Biggest gains probably came from adding a good bit of timing, the other things made drastic improvements in making everything feel less lazy...

Excellent, thanks 04GMCYukon, we've tried 3 or four different tunes so far on my 04 6.0 and the biggest complaint was off idle bogging. All kinds of top end, which is fun with a ford next you on the highway, but I was looking for more out of the towing side . Next tune will disable burst knock and add some timing.

Good luck! I'm going to try to mess around with shift times, it seems like my gains in shift firmness have learned themselves back down to a little more sloppy behavior.

Guys with Traction Control can also check out B2523 "TCS Off Disables BTM" BTM= Brake Torque management :D
