No for me on the Colorado. Canyon would look much better, IMO.

I did see a black Colorado Z71 with black wheel arch moldings that looked much better than that one though.

looks nice ? BUT NO leg room , seats could be inprove. bad for a long road trip. good for a short person. and for the money you can get a Silverado/sierra . (lot more extras )

I still think the front end looks like a crossover, but maybe it will grow on me. I like how GM made the Canyon look like a smaller Sierra so I don't know why they didn't make the Colorado look like a small Silverado and went 2 completely different directions with them.

How about some more clarification rather than a grade school ramble?

No legroom? Where? Front? Back? The old Gen 1 Colorado's had tons of front leg room for tall people (ask me how I know at 6'5) and this gen keeps the same amount. Back seat gained 3 inches over the gen 1 and has 2 more than the Tacoma I believe and maybe more than a extended cab silverado? If not a more relaxed seating position for sure.

So far all the reviews are talking about how comfortable the seats are. Have you been in one yet? They say much improved over the first Gen, if this reigns true it will be a great road tripper.

Lots more extras, ha. Go ahead and say well for the MSPR price of a Colorado I can buy an equally equipped last model year (IE 2014) Silverado for about the same price with huge discounts. Ya great for you, it won't have tons more features, it will be worse on gas and all around costs. Unless you actually are needing to use the full size capabilities that a Mid size can't handle then why? Sure on the Highcountry/Denali there are some stuff (digital dash, MRC shocks, Cooled seats and dual zone ac, oh and sunroof and power sliding rear window. Anything else major I am missing?) but you don't have that trim to compare so why, and you can't get one of those down to the level of a MSRP let alone discounted midsize truck, so why bring up that point?

Don't forget there aren't even any rebates out yet and members are already getting around 2-3k off these trucks. No one pays retail. But want to compare retail prices? Loaded LT with leather, 4x4 CC Colorado, std wheels, bose, trailering and no added accessories, 37k. Similarly equipped silverado (LT with leather, 4x4 CC, std wheels, bose no safety package or even bucket option) 46k. An LTZ starts at 46k. Loaded Silverado, somewhere north of 50-55k. It does have some more features, but I am not going to go feature for feature. It will be an easy 10k less. Sure you can save 10k on that silverado to get it down near the msrp of the colorado, then you can get the colorado down even further.

Nice pointless argument though!

This is a great reply to all the misinformed arguments against a resurgence of the small pickup segment. Very well put.

I hope we see more innovation in this segment cause I'm tempted to make the move when I buy my next truck in a few years.

I think GM was smart to have one that looks more truck for those who want it and the other taking a more "euro" look for those that want it. I'm really hoping this all gets ford to bring back the ranger which also has the lines like the Colorado does.

I set the driver seat up in a Colorado crew where I would sit in it (5ft 10) and then hopped in back. I was more than comfortable in the back seat. On paper, they show as being the same if slightly roomier than a Silverado double cab but, it feels way more open and less constricted than a Silverado inside. Felt more roomy, airy. Obviously its not 1/2 ton crew cab, but its quite good.
