Go back stock then sell.

Agreed... Very few people are going to want a brand new truck that's been tinkered with. You'll have a much better chance getting top dollar it its stock. Also think about keeping your truck and adding what you want to it rather then taking a loss to brand new truck.. IMO

Well the lift and tires and fender flares will have to stay on and obviously the back bumper reverse lights. So I will already be losing money if I trade it in. I was trying to see how many people I could see would even be interested.

I wouldn't do it unless your super unhappy with your truck . Even if you could and did go back to stock your going to take a big hit on depreciation .

I would book it out with Kelly blue book online . There pretty accurate and should give you an idea were your at . Also with all the incentives going now even with trades it wouldn't hurt to see what a dealer could do for you .

With GM still doing 9k in rebates I dont see who would pay that when they can get a brand new truck not tinkered with for less than that. I think you will have a better chance on that price when GM stops the rebates. But GLWS though.

I agree and it would also give him a better chance to get more in a trade because the dealers want to push out the 2014's that is if he's willing to trade a 14 for a 14 .

That's something I wouldn't be willing to do regardless of the upgrades .

I still think his best bet is to drive it for at least 2 more years and enjoy it .

I might be taking the lift off. I'm taking the truck in today to see why the front end is having popping sounds and the steering wheel all the sudden went out of alignment. If it's easy fix, the lift is staying on. if not. Leveling kit is going on soon.
