Du-Ha Humpstor - Anyone Use or Consider It?

Recommended Posts

Hey gang -

I'm on the cusp of picking up a new 2500HD Denali. One of the minor annoyances I have with GM trucks is that they have no decent storage compartments in the cab. I do like that the new truck has the option for the floor organizer in the back, but unfortunately that's where my little buddy (Lab) will be riding, and I don't need him rifling around in the storage bin. :-)

To that end, I'm considering something for the bed. Has anyone used the new(ish) Du-Ha Humpstor yet? It looks plenty big enough to carry what I'd need (think: jumper cables, Bungees, etc, etc). Any other ideas?

Thanks.

I bought the GM underseat accesory bin and it works great

Yep, it would work very well for me, too, but the back is where my little buddy (see avatar) will be riding. The seat bottoms will be folded up so that he has the entire back floor to himself; if that storage bin is there, it'll be in his way (and the jumper cables will end up in: his mouth).

A follow-up: Don't Buy! The rail clamps are just a bad idea and with the plastic cap that GM has on their newer trucks, the clamps can't gain purchase. Any sort of weight on the clamp and it'll slide right off. Grrr. Wish I hadn't ruined the box because I'd be sending it right back.

Do Not Buy!
