Mach Style

Hello gang! New here (obviously). Decided to finally jump on the forums for if I ever need help with my truck, a 1988 Chevy K1500. Going to be spending a lot of time on it come spring and summer. Ideally would like to replace the warn engine with a nice new 383 stroker engine from summit. I got this truck in August and have already done a number of small improvements which I will show in pictures. My goal is to have this truck become my tow rig and be my DD for as long as possible. Right now the truck sits roughly around 99K miles, but cant say for sure as the odometer quit work just after I bought it at 91K miles. To my knowledge, the engine (350) was rebuilt in 2007, the transfer case, rear end, and trans was also rebuilt in 2009. The trans (700r4) also has a hard shift kit on it so thats a plus. The truck is lifted on a rancho 4" kit and is driving on new Cooper discoverer Maxx S/T tires (70/315/16).

Anyways. on to pictures!

My other ride is a 2004 Mustang Mach 1 (hence the name), which I just recently got last month. My old car was a 2004 mustang GT but was taken out in kentucky by a crazy minivan driver who never stopped. Thats a long story

Thanks! And I personally prefer the 99-04's out of all the modern mustangs. Had a 03 V6 before the GT. The GT was pretty peppy as I had cams intake and exhaust work done. She was making around 295hp, so she had some get up and go. The Mach though is rated at 310 hp, so it is definitely a bit peppier than the GT. It has a lot more "ready to go" torque though. The cams on the GT didnt start to work that well till about 3K RPMs. The Mach is instant power and torque. Both cars are 5 speeds, yes.
