Buckeye fan here...so this is my favorite time of the year. We beat our rival but our top dog went down on Saturday and lost for the season...tough kid from Texas named JT Barrett. The kid is a GAMER. Shame we won't see JT and Melvin Gordon on the same field this Sat in Indy. would've been a Heisman voter's smorgasbord.

If Alabama plays FSU then easy win. Oregon can go either way, and i think the tide eill lose to TCU

Kinda thinking this way, too. In the one game Bama lost, Bama lost their other main receiver and fastest guy on the team, Kenyan Drake, and their starting center, both in the second quarter. Bama can handle FSU as is, but I think they need Kenyan Drake to shoot it out with Oregon and TCU. Drake is out for the year.

If Ohio State wins the B1G though, they may jump TCU. If the emphasis on conference championship games weigh as much as the committee says it does. But, we'll know after this weekend. Early favorites (WAG here) #2 Oregon vs #3 FSU (Oregon) and #1 Bama vs #4 TCU (TCU). Oregon over TCU for Title. (numerical ranking guesses after this weekend). Should be some good games though. If OSU jumps TCU, Bama over OSU and Oregon over Bama.

about like I expected.

1-Alabama

2- Oregon

3- Florida State

4- Ohio State

It really sucks for TCU and Baylor as I personally think either of these teams would beat Florida State.

Well TCU should have had a higer win margin, still surprised to see them out of it though. How long do you think til it is expanded to 8 teams?

I think they will try this for a few years but if there keeps being a couple teams that are worthy of consideration every year they will have to expand sooner than later. I still hate that the timing of a loss can ruin a season. If a team loses to a bad team early and wins out they usually get preference over a team with a loss at the end of the season even if against a quality team.

Close calls against bad teams should be considered. FSU should have been out. Undefeated or not, TCU had a better season and FSU on quite a few games against horrid teams just won by the foreskin.

I agree 100%. Ironically TCU's only loss was a close game to Baylor but Baylor lost pretty handily to a pretty crappy West Virgina team. Wonder who they would have chosen between those 2.
