Update on truck:

Got the fueling issue worked out on the second trip to the dealer. First time around they replaced the vent valve with no luck. Took it back and got a brand new tank and fuel pump under my same deductible for the extended warranty, which means it's paid for itself so far lol. They said there is an overfill check valve on the tank that's non serviceable so you have to replace the tank, lol, okay

Next up, been trying for over a week to get some headlights from Amazon. The first order I put in they had a set with a damaged box for $100 cheaper than a new set, so I hopped on it. They only sent me one headlight (sold in pairs) so I requested a return and just ordered a brand new set. Well, I waited to return it till I got the new order in. Again, they sent me only one headlight but this time for the opposite side, so now I have one complete set even though I should have two. Contacted them yesterday (Sunday) and resolved the issue. They refunded me for the second order, sweet! Brand new headlights for $250! Nope, not that lucky. Got to looking at one of the headlights, and piss poor quality control/ assembly didn't move a wire when assembling them so this is what it looks like:

So I ordered another set (hopefully they get it right this time, fingers crossed!) and just gonna return the faulty set under the new/ third order lol

Just send me your old lights. Lol

The one side is broken. I was diagnosing why my HID was not firing on the passenger side and stupid me didn't put a bolt back in it and it fell and hit the ground, breaking things loose inside of it

Gotcha. Hard to tell then. Probably broken plastic inside. Any thoughts about selling them?

Once I get my new headlights squared away I'd sell em, just as long as you know the one side is messed up, not sure if repairable or not

So I finally got my new headlights in and squared away. Had to order new HID H7 low beam bulbs and also new H1 LED high beam bulbs. Ordered a transition harness on amazon but it's coming from China, so who knows when it'll get here lol. So I took it upon myself to make my own leads. I don't solder often but I think it came out halfway decent. I mean, as long as it works, right?

Can't wait to get these bad boys in, as well as my Morimoto LED direct replacement fog lamps. Should be stylin' and lighting up the road by next weekend!!

All installed! Took me longer due to actually taking my time to make sure everything was correct, and because it was hot lol. Found out why my passenger side HID wasn't firing, and it wasn't the striker from what I originally thought. Turns out one of the relays in the dual relay harness went bad. Guess that's a good design, that way you don't lose both headlights at once. Luckily I had one that fit the bill until I can order the correct one. Here's some pics

Overall the cosmetics and lines of the truck flow better. Hopefully they throw a decent amount of light out. Headlights are Winjet for 14-15 Silverado, the fog lamps are Morimoto Type C LED fog lamp direct fit replacements. May need to adjust everything a little more since it wasn't even dark out yet, shouldn't be too bad though

Adjusted my headlights tonight and also messed with the camera settings on my phone and figured out the light filter. For being a phone this thing has served me well taking pretty decent pics, never really an issue besides the random lag and every once in a while it'll freeze up

These headlights make my truck look like it's from the movie Tron [emoji23] Also, it makes it look more like the 16+ Silverados, which are growing on me

The light output is amazing all around once adjusted properly. Gave the truck a completely different look and I'm happy with them so far. Not sure what's next on the truck. Probably tint soon. And thinking about saving up for some 4.88s [emoji16] [emoji16]

I also took my truck in to the dealer on Monday to get my A/C checked out. Of course I had a bad condenser BUT they just so happened to have one! How lucky can I be!? I feel bad for the people waiting weeks/ months to get a condenser

You're making we want to finish school even more now and get a job so I can do cool things to my truck too! Haha! Looks great by the way!

Thanks man! Believe me, if I wouldn't have broken my stock headlamp I wouldn't have spent the money just yet on aftermarkets. Putting stuff on credit sucks but luckily PayPal and Amazon Store Card got my back with special deals like 0% interest for 6 months [emoji23][emoji23]

I love when they do interest free!

If it's a larger item I always try and find it on eBay or amazon so I can get interest free. Hey they offer it, it'd be stupid not to take advantage of it!
