Cobalt blue VS Stone Blue

Recommended Posts

I thought the cobalt trucks seemed 'brighter' blue than my stone blue.

To my eye, the stone blue is in between the 2 'blues' from last year (stealth gray and cobalt)

(in between blue granite and blue topaz metallic chevy lingo)

Stone blue looks very similar to arrival blue from the early 2000s.

I agree cobalt has a purple ish tint to it in some light conditions. I haven't seen any purple in stone blue. In some light conditions, stone blue has a hint of teal in it.

I like the stone blue a lot more than cobalt blue.

Agree. Drove a blue 04 for awhile and I'd been thinking the same thing.

Going to add my two cents to this as my stone blue arrived at the dealer today. I saw it in the sun on Sunday at another dealer, and was quite disappointed, however saw it in cloudy, rain today and have to say that it is growing on me.

The Cobalt is a deeper blue, however not metallic as is the stone.

I will post more pics when I take the keys on the weekend.

Finally arrived -- still working on mods at dealer but should have it Saturday, much happier with the color now that I have seen it in sunny / cloudy weather. Rims are off my 10 SLT , running board swapped out for powder coated black ones, still waiting for the bed steps and cargo mgt system to be installed.
