2014/2015 Tahoe/Yukon/Silverado Power Assist Steps OEM! Power retr

I have a set of power assist steps off of a 2014 tahoe ltz. I was going to install them on my 2015 silverado crew cab but decided to buy some off road type steps instead. They are OEM and have never been modified. They are black with chrome accent on the side and they have a led strip that turns on when they're open. These steps are only equipped on ltz tahoes, it took me 8 months to find a set of them. I'm asking $1000 for them, all bolts needed to install them are included.

I also have a set of stock black oem nerf bars off of my 2014 Silverado for sale. I took them off the day I bought the truck so they've never been used. Ill take $300 obo for them, mounting bolts included.

Located in Southern California. Im willing to drive a good distance to drop them off.

We bolted them up on my Silverado. They are the same length as the amp research steps, the only difference is that these don't tuck under the truck as much as the amp steps. The step itself is also a little thicker compared to the amp steps.

There's two ways you can wire these up, you can either wire them up to your dome light switch where both steps will open as soon as any door is opened or you can wire up the trigger wire to each door the same way the basic amp steps would be wired in.

interesting, do you have anypics of them when they were bolted to your truck? Do they use oem mounting holes that the oem step bars use? i would have thought these tucked further than than amps. i would really like to see what they look like on a siverado. can you measure the length for me.

also, im assuming you have all mounting hardware and electrical equipment and everything needed for install?

sorry for all the questions.

No problem, I'd be more than happy to answer any question you have. I don't have any pics with me but I can mock them up and snap some pics for you tomorrow. Yes they use the same mounting holes as the stock steps that i had on there before. They actually don't tuck at all on the new tahoes, the chrome accent piece is completely visible on the them, but when bolted up to the silverado they tuck a little more but not as much as the amps. I'll get you a definite measurement for each one tomorrow as well.

I have the mounting hardware for them but as far as electrical goes, you would have to decide what you want to trigger the steps to open and wire them yourself. The steps have the stock tahoe electrical connections but if they're going on a silverado you would have to manually wire them. Its not hard though, you can follow the instructions on amps website for the basic non plug and play kit to figure out where you need to tap into your door wiring for the trigger wire.

No problem, Im sure other people interested would want to know the measurements and see some pics. I've been busy at work and didn't have my measuring tape handy so i tool some quick measurements with my measuring wheel instead. The steps are approx 76" long. I'll get you an exact measurement as soon as I have some free time though.

I just mocked them up with my jack so you can get an idea of how they would look bolted to the truck.

If your looking at the truck from the side, you can't see the steps at all.

Let me know if anybody has any other questions. Im trying to free up some cash for xmas so don't be afraid to shoot me an offer for either set of steps.

Nice they look good. Let me measure mine to see.they look a little shorter but not bad. I see what u mean about being more noticeable than amps ..So you have all the wiring and leds lights included. Alls I need to do is wire them ?

My worry is no one has actually wired these in so who know if they are actually compatible

Leds are built into the step itself. Power for leds is already included and incorporated into the original plug. When we mocked them up to my truck we used a 12v power converter that we use to test stereo systems and we made them open and close by putting power to the hot, trigger wire, and grounding it. Im pretty sure a good stereo shop would be able to wire them up if you wanted.

The guys that were helping me with the steps have wired in full power denali seats with working seat warmers into base model work trucks and made the oem door panel switches control them. Im sure other shops will be able to handle this job as well.

I was selling them to get some offroad type steps because i had plans on lifting the truck but now I'm just selling them to free up some xmas money. I like the way they look and I always prefer OEM parts over aftermarket but if they don't sell before xmas I'll probably go ahead and put them back on my truck.

All pm's replied to. The steps are located in the Los Angeles area but I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet halfway. I'll be off my current job site and back in LA on monday morning so steps will be available for pick up any time next week.

As far as shipping these goes, I got a couple estimates of somewhere between $190-300 depending on destination. So if buyer is willing to pay for shipping, I'll look a little further into getting shipping material for them.
