Anyone know the average cost or ballpark figure of repair/replacement for rear wheel bearing in the differential for a 2002 silverado 2500hd?

Each shop is different , labour rates per hour are different , so it can't be done on the Internet

It has to be diagnosed ( has to be takin apart) an estimate for repAir will be provided to you for authorization ,

You say go ahead or not ( and pay inspection/diagnoses if you decline )

That's how it's done my friend

Fair enough..definitely familiar with that...was just trying to see what people have paid on average or in their experiences.

New issue...I had the front bearing/hub done by a shop and now I'm hearing metal clanking (almost like cans) while driving and most noticeable when turning left or going over a bumpy area (i.e. railroad tracks). Potentially related? Anyone with ideas?
