I prefer the same side exit or the rear exit. I hate the duals where they go 90 or 45 degrees out each side, just doesn't look right to me.

I might add if you do dual our the rear, please, please make sure the tips are symmetrical. So many trucks and car I see with duals have the pipes slightly different and it drives my OCD crazy.

Well I have OCD so I wouldn't be able to have it come out just the one side lol. My last truck had them come out the back, but it looked good since it was a 98 Silverado which had the big ass blocky hitch and I had the tips tucked up just right beside the hitch. My '14 and my first truck I have/had them come out at a 45° behind the rear tires. I think it looks better come out the side with the newer trucks because the hitch is hidden and wouldn't look right when just 2 tips hanging below the bumper. The only problem with that is if you go off-roading and mudding all the time then mud can get caked up on the tips if you have them right behind the tires. They can also easily get dirty but it's ok with me. If you're worried about the tips getting dirty then have them come out the back under the bumper.

I'm ordering a GM Borla exhaust from my dealership and am not sure if I should order the rear or side exit. Opinions please.

You should take before and after videos to show the difference in sound.

The single biggest reason I keep it single side exit.

Second biggest reason - when towing and hooking up, rear exhaust is the pits.

Did you call your dealer to order and schedule a date to install? Which tips did you get?

I'm thinking about doing the same as you and would like to know the best way to start the order.

I went by and negotiated price and today I had them order the"side" with the black chrome tips.

I had black chrome tips put on mine since it's a black truck and they look much better than regular chrome. Plus it's not a big deal when they fade or weather. I remember putting regular chrome tips on my 98 and a month later (if that long) they didn't look new anymore.
