Las Vegas trip suggestions

My wife and I will be heading to Vegas to visit the inlaws over Christmas. They are kind of home bodies and I'm going to want to get out of the house a bit. We will be down there about 5 days and I hope to do something besides gambling. I have seen Blue Man Group and Cirque de Sol "O" about 10 years ago.

What would you guys suggest to do? Shows, restaurants, touristy spots, anything would help.

All of the above plus there is the "Mob Museum" in downtown and the Pawn Stars shop, Big Elvis has a free lounge show at Harrah's and really packs in the crowds, all well worth the visit, have fun!

Gold and Silver Pawn is a waste of time. A giant waste of time. I want that hour of my life back

The mob and wax museums sound interesting and do enjoy hunting and shooting so machine guns would be fun. I didn't get to see the light show at Freemont last time I was there so will definitely put that on my list. That's funny about the Pawn Shop. My brother went there a couple years ago and said the same thing. He waited in line to get in and said it was tiny and kind of a dive. Thanks for the ideas guys.

Check internet for coupons - savings etc. to help on the cost. I went to the Pawn Shop when it was slow. Pass the Stratosphere going to the old strip. It was okay to see (no wait) and I didn't think it was in a great area. I walked around the entire block to see their rear storage area etc. American Restoration is only a few blocks away from Pawn Shop and Counting Cars is a few more blocks away toward the new strip in back of Circus Circus roughly. Get a map before you go to plan your trip.
