Ignition-on power source in engine compartment?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for all of the reply’s guys, I really appreciate the help!

I found the 12v ignition source!

It is located in the Mid-Bussed Electrical Connector in the driver side floorboard, behind the parking brake. It’s at port X-14 pin # 7.

Here’s a picture of the MBEC:

Here is a close up of the empty connection bay. Pin # 7 is a true 12v ignition source.

Thanks again for the reply's guys and I hope this helps someone else.:seeya:

In the main load center, on the X2 connector, either pin A5 or B4 is an ignition-on power source. These two pins are connected to the aux battery relay on the TP2 option. I don't recall which one is the hot one, should be simple enough to test with a circuit tester.and a few terminal connectors.

Don't forget to disconnect the battery before you raise up the tray containing all the fuses.
