My buddy just got a silverardo with 18's and swapped for the duellers, he got 'em to do it for free. but for a few hundred bucks I'd do it if I was you just look at tirerack reviews the goodyears suck.

Only do it if they do it for free. I still have the Goodyears that came on mine and I don't have a problem with them. I wouldn't use them for off-roading like mudding, but on road they're not too bad. Haven't had a chance to try them in snow yet, but I'm sure they're no better or no worse than any other highway tread tire. Maybe because I usually get the cheapest tires I can get at the time so I don't have much to compare to. Only time I didn't was BFGoodrich All-terrain TAs on my 98 and they were good all around. I have the 18s so maybe being a little more sidewall makes them feel better.

As for the handling, I've had this truck going about 90 around a curve in the country and it did perfectly fine. Other tires would be better I'm sure, but I don't think these tires are absolute junk that others make them out to be. Again mine are 18s so that probably helps out over 20s and defiantly 22s.

The sra's aren't the best for sure and I was going to put michelins on mine but I got thinking it is not like they are totally terrible ,so I figured I had spent enough money on the truck I might as well wear these things off because I won't get much for them if I was even able to sell them, the one thing I hate about them is on cold nights they get flat spots on them and for the first 5 miles they thump pretty good until they warm up and round off the corners,I remember tires doing this back in the 70's but I thought it was a thing of the past ,so I give them 5 out of 10 not great but a passing mark.

I kept the Goodyears on mine, with no problems. That said, I will run duelers when I replace the stockers because they wear like iron, even at 280 to swap it's worth it.

If you plan on driving through any snow, dump the SRA's. I swapped mine out for a set of Michelin LTX M/S2. Dealer charged me an extra $100 per tire but it was worth every penny.

funny, we had 5 ft of snow here in Philly last year and mine did fine. And I live out on the mail line, very hilly area. I also have 12K miles on mine and don't see much wear at all.....
