Black chrome rims

Anybody have any pics of black chrome wheels on their truck?

Detroit Wheel does Black Chrome. I was contemplating on sending my Denali wheels to them for the Black Chrome treatment, but after thinking about it, I feel there's too much chrome on the truck and the wheels would compete with that. (Mirrors, door strips, running boards, door handles). Now if all the chrome was black chrome, then I think it would look pretty sweet. At least this is how I feel with White Diamond Tricoat.

i bought the set online for i think 800 but i went to my local discount tire and they were able to save me about 20 bucks for the set, no shipping and a little tax. this way if i have any issues i can go back to them locally.

i don't remember exactly but i think with TPMS wheels and tires i spent like 1500-1600 total.

and yes i was pretty sure they would look awesome on a black truck. i also have black chrome dual exhaust tips.

if only i could find a way to black chrome everything else the look would be perfect

 

I took these more recent pics today, I have now eliminated all the chrome except the badges. The chrome strip is now covered in 3m black vinyl wrap

thanks, you may notice my tails and great stop lamp are tinted slightly.

i also have LED tail lights and a LED light strip under the gate .

its a total sleeper as well until i unleash the more then 600 ponies! i smoked a mustang GT earlier today it was pretty comical actually.

I like it! Need to black out the front emblem too though

I like the front unless you blacked the headlights or black chromed them I think there is just enough contrast there, I was going to black the rear emblems but I like a little contrast

LA Wheel & Tire in Chatsworth CA offers an OEM exchange program that includes their Winter Chrome finishes (Black PVD chroming). The standard exchange program is $890. They send you the wheels and you ship your's back in pre-labled and pre-paid boxes. I am sure you could "upgrade" to their PVD Winter Chrome in the exchange program, check em out, give them a call.
