Figured I'd start a build thread so I can post the updates on my truck. Pretty much the basic modifications, but i'm happy with the truck. I bought the truck in October with 7k miles on it, has 11,300 right now, can't complain. Couple little interior noises and one rattle I want the dealer to look at, but happy with my first (basically) new vehicle

The day brought the truck home. 2014 Z71 5.3 double cab LT, 3.42 gears,Rainforest Green Metallic, light tan interior, center console, heated cloth. The Previous owner installed an Extang tri-fold cover and a GM bed mat. Oh, also the mud flaps WITH BOW TIES.

First thing i bought was some LED fog lights. I'd still like LED or possibly HID headlight bulbs, but don't want to spend the money on lights right now. I also got fitted MaxLiner floor mats, front and rear, that I'm really happy with, but don't have a picture of them.

Then got a good deal online on a K&N cold air intake. Did I notice much? Nope. I'd still probably do it again. I think it will help when i get my truck tuned.

I decided to plasti-dip my wheels. I like black/machined wheels the best, but didn't want to buy rims right now, so i'm happy with the look.

I put a DynoMax Cat-back exhaust on also. Don't have any pictures or video, but i'm happy with it. Stainless system, single exit, for $290 shipped. Not super loud but sounds good. Also got a Rough Country 2.5" front/1" rear leveling kit. Simple and cheap. I'm happy so far. Ride is stiffer but not bad.

I need tires next. I'm planning 305/65/18 Falken Wildpeak A/T's right now. Then, a custom tune from Black Bear. I should be pretty happy with it after that. Things could change though. I would like some better rear shocks and new coilovers one day. Anyway, let me know what you think

Forgot i ditched the front valance and baby mud flaps too.

Thanks guys. I'm having a hard time deciding between a 305/60/18 or a 305/65/18. Probably in a nitto Terra grappler or Falken wild peak at. I don't need mud terrains. 305/60 IS about a 32.5" tall and 305/65 is about 33.5" tall. I'd rather be right at 33" haha
