2015 OEM Chevy Grill cover

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else installed the Chevy Grill cover on their truck? My cover just doesn't seem to fit like I've seen the old one fit. I'm thinking there might be a different cover for the High Country models.. Any ideas?

Pretty sure it's supposed to go above that top part of your grille. It's a very tight fit, I started by putting the top on then used a screwdriver to force the bottom clips on. It's still a little looser than I see on most trucks. I can snap a picture tomorrow if you want

Nevermind you do have it on right, just looks weird to me because I don't have the high country with that bright grill. They contract in the cold slightly so it will look better once you hit colder temps, but I find mine is still a little loose and dosent look as great as other trucks'

Yea, I thought it would lay more "flat" on the grill, but the top row doesn't have an open back end for the clips to hold onto..

I redid mine today after looking at it again and it seems to lay better and I'm my opinion look better on there too. ac0ef45a50a3477c849505518aefb7c4.jpg

I've ran mine without it too, but it seems to warm up faster with it on and the block heater plugged in under 32 degree weather.

I never bought a OEM grill cover. I have always been satisfied with aftermarket. One of the best I have ever used is the Fia fronts, that include both winter front and summer screen front. Easy to put snaps on the grill and always fits nice and snug.
