What did you drive in High School?

'66 Cornet 500 318 Polysphere/3spd auto. Had looked at numerous Cuda's and Challenger's before the prices got stupid crazy, but most needed parts that we didn't know were available through Year One, or would be available in the next couple years.

'77 Cordoba 400/auto

and at times my parent '90 Ramcharger 318/auto 4x4.

A year out bought a '92 Daytona Iroc Z 3.0/5spd. That was a fun car!

That makes more sense. My dad had the opportunity to buy a '69 Superbird back in the early 80's. He already had a '68 road runner, so he didn't want to own 2 almost identical cars. Kicks himself everyday now......

Would have been a '70 Superbird, or '69 Daytona. The 'Bird is one of my favorite cars! Prefer it over the Daytona due to the wing being body color. Also love the '70 Road Runner.

My dad finally sold his (original owner, about 75kmi) '69 Charger RT 440/auto in the mid/late 90's. Needed a full resto (parked since just before I was born due to a brake issue!) but instead he spent money on a '68 Coronet RT drop top with a non #'s matching '69 motor. Asked what I thought, told him he could have restored the Charger for about the same amount spent on the '68, and would have been an original owner car.

I don't recall, but was told we had the chance to get a '70 Runner that was Panther Pink when in hs. Dad didn't allow it because of the color.

Usually Nikes or converse. We lived in an area where farthest walk to any school was about 6 blocks so parents didn't see a need for me to drive.

My first car was a 81 Trans Am with the 4.9 Turbo motor. It was a really crappy, gutless motor but with the T-tops and black paint with the gold Firechicken decals was a very sharp looking car.

1995 Ford Escort LX Sedan. I worked for a couple years to save up the loot, it had about 75k miles on it and I think I paid $2500.00 in about 2001. I was 16 or 17 years old I don't remember.

1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a 307. It was actually a very rare car because it had every available option from the factory including the huge power sunroof. I had a lot of fun with that car, and I still miss the way it drove, floated over everything like it was on a cloud, super comfortable too.

Ah, right you are! It was a '70 Superbird, and the guy had 2 of them. MY dad sold his Road Runner to a freind who dropped $50k on a restoration. Good thing is, it's in the guy's will that if anything happens to him my dad gets the car back!

2 'Birds!!!??? Holy cripe!!!

While I am sure your dad doesn't want to get the Runner back under those circumstances, that is good it was set up that way.

Original 383 still in it? Unless it's a Hemi! Auto or 4spd?

Any pics?

I'll have to find some pics. Had the 383, but bored and stroked heavily now!

Yeah, he doesn't want the car back that way, but it's good to know it's not going anywhere either. This guy is actually doing a frame off restoration on a '68 Camaro right now too. LSA motor, full independent suspension and everything else you can imagine.....had to write a $75,000 check just to get started!

My first car was a 1971 Ford Torino Cobra with a 429 Super Cobra Jet. Built up the 429 but never put it into the car. I got the Torino when I was 11 and got rid of it at 15 as I didn't get my first job till I was 18. I kick myself everyday for ever getting rid of it. My 68 Falcon was the next ride and drove it till I wrecked it. Had trucks ever since the Falcon. Really want to buy my brother's 71 Ranchero right now but I'm married and my wife would kill me.

Very first truck I had, also the truck I learned how to drive with was an early 90's model Toyota 4cyl. pickup standard tranny.... drove that until I had saved up enough money and my folks agreed as a graduation present to meet me half way on 2004 chevy Colorado (one of those brother-n-law deals)

Here is my College car beside my first full time Job car. Had a Votech supercharger on the teal green 91 RS Camaro. Vortech was putting out their first wave of under the hood superchargers. All of the Z28 guys and Mustang owners couldn't figure out how it kept beating them. Of course spent more money then the blower keeping the back end on the ground. ha ha..

Truck looks good! Did you drive the racecar as well? Looks like a Modified from what I can see.
